Article on independent Sen4CAP grassland mowing validation in Belgium

Open call for new Sen4CAP use cases – Deadline Dec 15

In the framework of its extension, the Sen4CAP project launched a call for new use cases, corresponding to key functionalities missing in the current Sen4CAP system or supporting the transition towards performance regulations. Paying Agencies applying are expected to actively participate to these use cases by sharing relevant in-situ data to perform R&D and validation and by contributing to the outcomes’ assessment.
Call for abstracts – Living Planet Symposium 2022 – Agriculture session – Deadline Nov 26

Oral and poster abstracts are now invited for the Living Planet Symposium which will take place from the 23-27 May 2022 in Bonn, Germany. Consider to submit your latest research on the different agricultural research aspects to the A3.04 Agriculture session (Methods and Algorithms, Science, Applications and Policy. Please submit your short abstracts (300-1500 words) by this Friday 26.11. here.

€9.5 million in service credits available to research institutions from Open Clouds for Research Environments

For those who might be interested, all CREODIAS users who are members of the European research community can now apply for new grants from OCRE Open Clouds for Research Environments.

New funding opportunities are awaiting those who use cloud computing services or EO data from the Copernicus programme in their research projects.

Members of the European research community are encouraged to apply for the funding, which can be consumed on CREODIAS.

From 15 September you can apply for grants as service credits from OCRE, for funding the consumption of infrastructure-cloud services (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS) in your scientific project. The deadline for this call for projects is 2 November. Read more on OCRE website – cloud funding.

On 14 October OCRE will launch its first funding call specifically focused on stimulating the adoption of digital Earth Observation (EO) services by researchers. Find more details on OCRE website – EO services. Join a dedicated webinar – register here.
